 The nature of the exam is to check objective information and knowledge, not subject understanding.  This is the reason that education has not only become burdensome for today's students but has taken the form of a non-essential, non-productive task.  Examination-based education actually puts all the power of children in sorting out the correct answers from some questions, multiple choice answers.  Emphasis has been laid on defining and enforcing the interrelationships between exam and education many times.  Sometimes the examination was made important, sometimes the usefulness of the examination was taken away from the education of the child.  The requirement of a board exam was removed a few years ago.  But this year, a committee of various academics has again decided to implement the board examination from 2018, underlining the usefulness of the exam.  One thing is clear that when governments have changed, then the nature of education has been tampered with.
