Main point

 Students of primary and upper primary schools of Basic Education Council will now undergo unit test every two weeks.  On the direction of the government, according to the order sent by Basic Education Officer Sanjay Kumar Kushwaha to all the section education officers regarding the time period and work for educational work, remedial teaching will be done on the basis of internal test to be done every fortnight.



Other information

 Every day class-wise and subject-wise project / home work must be given to the children and the next day it should be assessed.  The entry in the motivation table will be marked by the teacher only on the date of the student receiving the required learning output.  The Principal and Academic Resource Person will inspect it every month.

Other information

Children's attendance usually decreases after mid-day-meal, so special attention has been given to this.  Teachers will not do any non-academic work, rally, ferry, bank etc. work during school time.  School repair, dyeing paint will be done either on leave or after school time.  The number of record registers / registers will be reduced from 40 to 14.  In case of suspension of a teacher, disciplinary action will be completed within one month in each case, in which case the Block Education Officer will be responsible.

UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam 2020: The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Central Government and Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) seeking a reply on a petition seeking the postponement of the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination.  The petition filed by the UPSC candidates has demanded the postponement of the examination in view of the fast growing cases of corona virus in the country and the severe flood situation in many states.  A bench of Justices AM Khanwilkar and Sanjeev Khanna set the next hearing on September 28.  UPSC Prelims exam is going to be held on October 4 across the country.  The admit card of the examination has also been issued.


Other information

 This petition has been filed by 20 UPSC candidates through Advocate Alakh Shrivastava.  According to the petition, on October 4, more than six lakh candidates will appear for 72 hours at 72 centers in the country.  The petition said that in this time of epidemic, conducting offline examinations is nothing more than endangering the lives of millions of young students.  The life and health of the petitioners and many other students living in that area have been severely affected due to natural calamities like floods and frequent rains in many states of the country.  In such a case, the revised calendar is completely inappropriate.  It violates the 'right to health' and 'right to life' given in Article 21 of the Constitution.
