IPL today's match

 IPL today's match

Men topic

Today, the team of Chennai Super Kings, full of experienced players, is facing against the young Delhi Capitals.  In the last match against Rajasthan, Chennai had lost while Delhi had beaten Punjab in an exciting match in the Super Over.  In this match, Chennai captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni can make some changes.

Other information

He was heavily criticized for batting in the lower order in the last two matches, so he is expected to play in the top order as a big change against Delhi.  On the other hand, in the last match, spinner Piyush Chawla proved to be quite expensive, so Imran Tahir can be fed in his place.

Other information

Murali Vijay and Shane Watson will be seen opening Chennai.  Dhoni, Kedar Jadhav and young Gaikwad can play with Faf du Plessis in the middle order.  In the lower order, Sam Curran and Ravindra Jadeja can be given the responsibility of fast batting.  In bowling, only Angidi and Deepak Chahar will play the role of fast bowlers.  Spinners can include Jadeja and Tahir.

Other information

Delhi's team is looking quite balanced, so if the team has won the first match, then there is little hope for change.  Just injured spinner R Ashwin can be replaced by Amit Mishra.  Dhawan and Prithvi will start the innings while Shreyas, Rishabh and Stoinis will be in the middle order.  Fast bowling is likely to be in the hands of Rabada and Nortze.

Possible playing XI of Chennai

Shane Watson, Murali Vijay, Faf du Plessis, Rituraj Gaikwad, MS Dhoni (captain, wicketkeeper), Sam Curran, Kedar Jadhav, Ravindra Jadeja, Piyush Chawla or Imran Tahir, Deepak Chahar, Lungi Angidi

 Delhi's potential playing XI

Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw, Shimron Heitmeyer, Shreyas Iyer (captain), Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Marcus Stoinis, Akshar Patel, R Ashwin or Amit Mishra, Kagisa Rabada, Enrich Nortje, Mohit Sharma
